Kip Andersen

Kip Andersen’s awakening as a filmmaker came as a result of An Inconvenient Truth. After seeing the film, he dramatically changed his lifestyle and believed he was doing everything he could to help the planet. But his life took a different direction when he found out animal agriculture is the leading cause of environmental destruction. Together with Keegan Kuhn he co-produced his first film, Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, which became an overnight viral success and ignited the environmental movement. Following this success, he was invited to speak in front of the European Parliament and a new cut, executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, was exclusively released on Netflix in September 2015.

Andersen is the founder of A.U.M. Films and Media, a 501c3 non-profit focused on creating films and media that promote thrivability, compassion, and harmony for all life. He is also a serial entrepreneur, as well as a certified Jivamukti and Kundalini yoga teacher.

He is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo school of business and has called San Francisco home for more than a decade.

 

Keegan Kuhn

Keegan Kuhn is the award-winning co-director of the acclaimed documentary films Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, executive produced for Netflix by Leonardo DiCaprio, and What The Health, executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix, Running For Good, executive produced by James Cromwell and They're Trying To Kill Us, executive produced by Chris Paul and Billie Eilish.

Keegan is the owner and operator of First Spark Media, a digital film production company tailored to creating films for social justice. Keegan's skills as a director, producer, cinematographer, editor, animator and composer have been utilized in film subjects as diverse as modern Alaskan homesteading, gender inequality, animal rescues, Buddhism, endurance sports and environmental destruction. He is motivated by a deep desire to shed light on untold stories of the most downtrodden in our society, and to raise awareness through greater visibility of social justice issues.

 

Amy Taylor

Amy is the award-winning director and producer of MILKED. A studied Environmental Science and Marine Biology before completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Science Communication at the University of Otago. As an independent filmmaker, she's driven by the potential that storytelling has to open windows into different worlds, reveal truth, and create positive change. Amy has spent over 20 years working with non- profit organizations, helping to shine a spotlight on environmental and social justice issues. Combining her love of the natural world with a creative skill set, she focuses on stories exploring connections between people and nature.

 

Alex Lockwood

Alex Lockwood is a documentary filmmaker from Birmingham, UK. He won a BAFTA in 2019 for his short film 73 Cows. The film Premiered at Raindance Film Festival and was screened at European Parliament in order to provoke change in agricultural law. Alex's most recent film is a feature-length documentary entitled The End of Medicine. The film is a collaboration with Keegan Kuhn along with Exec Producers Joaquin Pheonix and Rooney Mara and is set to be released in April 2022. Alex began his career working as a runner on various TV shows. He later set up his own film production company which initially focussed on low-budget corporate films for local businesses but now only produces projects which aim to shed light on issues of ethics and sustainability.

 

Ali Tabrizi

Ali Tabrizi is a filmmaker and director of the groundbreaking Netflix documentary, ‘Seaspiracy’. He founded Disrupt Studios, a media company willing to break the rules of traditional documentary filmmaking with the goal of disrupting the status quo and exploring complex global issues.

 

Chris O'Connell

After a pivot in his career (he’s one of the most published snow sports photographers in the world), and a hiatus from dodging avalanches and faraway travel in search of perfect snow, he set out to tell the social justice story that is Cannabis Buyers Club. It’s Chris’s first documentary series. 

Chris O’Connell founded Armada Skis in 2002 and served as Chief Brand Officer and Chairman until their acquisition in 2017 by Amer Sports. Chris met Kip as a child in 1985 in  Burke, Virginia and they’ve been best friends ever since. 

 

Carter Feuerhelm

Carter Feuerhelm was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He fell in love with filmmaking in high school, making VFX-heavy action comedy shorts and intimate coming-of-age documentaries with his friends. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a BFA in Film & TV Production, focusing on editing. Since graduating, he’s edited five feature films, including the sports drama The Last Whistle and the travel documentary Léa & I, now available on Netflix. After living in Los Angeles for almost a decade, Carter moved to New York City last year.

 
 

Rebecca Cappelli

Rebecca Cappelli is an award-winning filmmaker and public speaker based in Switzerland.

She is the director of Let Us Be Heroes and SLAY.

A French citizen and a mandarin speaking professional, Rebecca lived in Asia for over 18 years including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore. She leads the non-profit project Let us be Heroes to empower people to become a line of defense for health, vulnerable communities, the planet and the animals.
